Edinburgh
About this tour
Edinburgh the capital city of Scotland, located in South-East Scotland on the southern shore of the Firth of Forth. The city is made up of two distinctive areas the medieval old town and Georgian New town making for a beautiful blend of historic architecture. Arthur’s Seat and Edinburgh Castle loom over the city.
The city is a great destination for students to study the history, culture and government of a country, without travelling vast distances. Edinburgh is a renowned city of culture, with many top museums, galleries and attractions that will make a fascinating trip for any subject. Plenty to see and do all in the historical Royal Mile area. Edinburgh Castle, the fascinating Camera Obscura, John Knox House with Storytelling, and then help your students become Earth scientists for the day with a visit to Dynamic earth, explore the different galleries each detailing the different stages of Earth’s developments.
If your trip is curriculum-based, one of our tour managers will be happy to discuss your learning objectives with you. We want your group to achieve the best educational benefits from the tour, no matter how many subjects or topics you wish to cover and of course including the fun element.
