Peak District
About this tour
The Peak district is in central England and covers an area of 1,437 km². From the limestone valleys, gritstone ridges and stark moorland the area has some outstanding natural scenery. It was the first designated national park in the UK.
The location is ideal as it allows you to experience the beauty of nature within the park and an array of local attractions, with the added bonus that you can also visit one of the nearby cities of Manchester, Derby, or Sheffield for the day. It enables students to cover a variety of subjects such as British history, geography, science, and culture without having to travel vast distances.
Let your students enjoy a day of thrills and excitement with a visit to Alton Towers Theme Park with its great variety of rides and areas suited for all ages.
If your trip is curriculum-based, one of our tour managers will be happy to discuss your learning objectives with you. We want your group to achieve the best educational benefits from the tour, no matter how many subjects or topics you wish to cover and of course including the fun element.
