About this tour
Liverpool city is located on the eastern side of the Mersey estuary in Northwest England. The city is famed for its maritime history and legendary musicians. The city has ferry links to the Isle of Man making it possible for a great dual-location tour.
Sites of great historic interest, relics of great industrial past, and wonderful scenery – all combine to make this area a good choice for a school tour. Liverpool is a great destination to visit for a rewards tour with a large variety of fun attractions and visits available.
Spend the day discovering about one of the music greats to come out of Liverpool the Beatles with a visit to The Beatles Story which has a dedicated educational program based around the national curriculum.

Day One
- Pick up at school and depart by coach and travel to the Liverpool.

- Check into the hostel/hotel.
- Evening meal at Local Restaurant
- Possible evening flight on wheel of Liverpool
Day Two
- Breakfast and collect packed lunches.
- Depart by coach to Pier Head, Liverpool
- Launch on the River Explorers Cruise with a stop at the U-Boat Story (Return Journey)
- Visit Museum of Liverpool
- Visit Merseyside Maritime Museum
- Dinner at Local Restaurant
Day Three
- Breakfast and collect packed lunches.
- Check out, load coach, and depart.
- Morning visits to the Beatles Story and possibly Tate Gallery or Cathedral
- Travel home after lunch.
- Possible dinner stops on the way home depending on the location of the school
