Isle of Wight
About this tour
The Isle of Wight located in Southern England in the English Channel just off the coast of Hampshire. The island can easily be accessed by a quick ferry ride from Portsmouth or Southampton.
From the award-winning beaches dotted along its coastline to Newport the capital and heart of the island. It’s a favourite destination of many of our Primary schools and no wonder – the island is packed with a wide variety of attractions, and all just a short distance away. History, geography, conservation and ecology, botany, maritime studies, geology, arts, and crafts just a few of the possibilities for educational visits to this fascinating island.
Why not let your students’ become historians for the day with a visit to the Brading Roman Villa with its award-winning visitor centre and museum about life during the Roman period in Britain.
If your trip is curriculum-based, one of our tour managers will be happy to discuss your learning objectives with you. We want your group to achieve the best educational benefits from the tour, no matter how many subjects or topics you wish to cover and of course including the fun element.
