About this tour
Battle & Hastings area is in Southeast England in the county of East Sussex. The area most famed for the location of 1066 battle. There are of course other exciting attractions covering an array of topics: from learning about different biodiversity’s with visits to the Drusilla’s Park Zoo and Sea life Centre; to learning about British industries with a visit to the Fishermen’s Museum.
Spend the afternoon learning about the famous battle in 1066, between the British and the French, with a visit to the 1066 Story at Hastings Castle. Students will be able to see the story from the conquest to the history of the castle through ages, which is done through a medieval siege tent-style theatre performance.

Day One
- Pick up at school and depart by coach and travel to Hastings.

- Check into the hostel/hotel.

Day Two
- Breakfast and collect packed lunches.
- Visit Smugglers Adventure
- Visit the 1066 Story at Hastings Castle
- Visit the Hastings Embroidery
- Evening meal back at the hotel
Day Three
- Breakfast and collect packed lunches.
- Check out, load coach, and depart.
- Visit to Drusilla’s Zoo
- Arrive back at school early evening.
