We operate a whole person concept which means that wherever possible you will only deal with 1 person from start to finish. That includes the quotation stage, confirmation of tour, itinerary planning, on tour 24 hour on call plus post tour consultation. We find operating this way, great relationships and greater understanding of requirements develop, leading to a successful outcome.
Year 7 Upwards
One of the first school tour operators to be awarded the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge in that category. Also one of the founder members of the School Travel Forum (STF) which was created to help improve and maintain safety and standards on educational visits. Not only does this show our commitment to safety and quality but shows we were at the forefront of this culture.
Rondo Travel was started over 35 years ago by a former MFL teacher to provide exchange visits to France and Germany – with a focus even then of improving what was available by ensuring children were paired with the correct students and families.
Today our offerings are far more diverse, covering not only the UK and Europe but anywhere in the World and who knows maybe beyond in the not too distant future?
All subjects and destinations are covered from Yr7 curriculum to second and third year Degree students. Whether it’s a general tour to Paris or a more subject specific Geography visit to Lanzarote, our itineraries will be developed with you to ensure you have the experience you are looking for. For Sports enthusiasts or those into Performing Arts we are experienced in providing quality experiences with a mix of activity and sightseeing.

Our Battlefield & History tours brand offers a slightly more focused tour – with the emphasis on the subject matter rather than being a more generalist tour. On these tours many of our clients choose to have a guide with them full time, joining the group in the UK and travelling with them throughout. This has the added advantage of being able to have on-going commentary as you travel between destinations.

In our effort to support environmental sustainability, Rondo Travel operates a nearly paper-free office. This initiative significantly reduces our consumption of paper, helping to decrease deforestation and the water usage involved in paper production. By embracing digital processes for communications, bookings, and itinerary planning, we ensure our operations are both efficient and responsible, reducing our ecological footprint.
Working from home
With all staff using the Microsoft cloud based system we have and continue to reduce our carbon emissions.
We estimate that across the staff we currently save in the region of 60,000 miles car usage a year by working from home.
Group Travel for Carbon Efficiency

Group travel allows us to fully utilize transportation modes such as buses and trains, which are far more carbon-efficient on a per-person basis.
