Outstanding Secondary School Tours to Rotterdam
About this tour
Rotterdam, the perfect place for your Secondary School Tour
Having been destroyed in the Second World War, Rotterdam now features some of the most fascinating architecture in Europe. With an ever-changing skyline, a commitment to innovation runs right through the city. The Architectural Institute is happy to arrange classes for visiting students and there is a great deal of art to be seen.
But as well as being a home to innovative design and contemporary art, Rotterdam is proud of its history and has one of the oldest museums in the Netherlands. The city also has a rich maritime history, with the port of Rotterdam stretching for about 20 miles from the centre of the city to the North Sea at the Hook of Holland.
This huge infrastructure project is an ideal learning resource for geography and economics students. Tours of the harbour are available by boat and more specific aspects can be visited on request, so get in touch to find out more.
