Catalonia Geography Tour
About this tour
The region of Catalonia located in Northern Spain, famous for its rich Catalan cultural heritage. The region is home to an abundance of natural parks, the picturesque Costa Brava coastline, and the city of Barcelona one of Europe’s most visited cities.
These features make it an ideal destination for a geography tour as it allows you to cover several physical and human geographical areas. A visit we recommend when wanting to cover physical geographical areas is to the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park, home to forty dormant volcanoes, your students will get to partake in volcanic field work with a local guide.
The city of Barcelona presents some great opportunities to study many human geographical areas from the urbanisation and regeneration of the city to conducting an investigation into the affects tourism is having on the city.
