Barcelona has some top Spanish junior hockey clubs, and it is in fact the region with the greatest number of clubs and hockey players in Spain (twice as many as in Madrid and four times more than the Valencian Community or Andalusia).

Sample Itinerary
On average tours are from 3 to 5 days, which means two to four hotel / hostel nights. To help you plan your tour we can offer the following suggestion:
A suggested 4-day itinerary might look like this:
- Day 1: Flight and arrival in Barcelona or Girona. Private transfer to your accommodation and free time to explore the area.
- Day 2: Training in Montjuïc or outside Barcelona, visit La Rambla, the harbour (Port Vell) and La Barceloneta Beach. First match against local opposition.
- Day 3: Second training in or out of Barcelona. Visit to Sagrada Familia and Eixample district. Second match against local opposition.
- Day 4: Optional third friendly match and / or visit to Park Güell. Flight back home.
Rondo recommends the following
- Sagrada Familia: Gaudi’s great cathedral is still under construction but offers a unique opportunity to see his exquisite work.
- Park Güell: This is one of the major Gaudi attractions in Barcelona and pre-booking is advised to be sure of seeing all his wonderful creations and stunning views of Barcelona.
- La Rambla: The best-known street in Barcelona with its shops, restaurants, and lively atmosphere, which leads from Catalonia Square to the seafront. Here you will find the Columbus monument with a viewing gallery 60 meters above ground where you can enjoy panoramic views of the city.
Other Visits and Excursions
- Olympic Stadium: Although made ready for 1929, the Olympic stadium was not used until 1992 and is now one of Barcelona’s favorite attractions.
- Camp Nou Stadium: Your students can experience walking out through the tunnel of this magnificent stadium and see the many trophies won in the club museum of Barcelona FC.
- Poble Espanyol (Spanish Village): The Poble Espanyol museum was built in 1929 for the International Exhibition and resembles an actual village with replicas of 117 buildings from different Spanish regions.

- Youth Hostel Pere Tarrés: This relaxed hostel is 1.6 km from Camp Nou football stadium, 2km from Real Club de Polo and 4 km from Montjuïc or Plaça de Catalunya central square.
