About this tour
London the capital of United Kingdom and questionably one of the most influential cities in the world when it comes to performing arts.
The city is an ideal destination to witness the arts in practice by watching one of the many shows in London’s West end.
There is also the opportunity for students to practice and advance their own acting and performance skills/techniques by partaking in one of the many performing arts based workshops available.
We can include visits to help further your students’ knowledge about the area such as; the national theatre backstage tour, backstage tour of Queen’s theatre home of the Les Miserables show and The Phantom’s Lair which is a Q&A with company & crew from The Phantom of the Opera.
Sample Itinerary
We recommend a minimum 2 night, 3 day Itinerary. As we tailor make each itinerary we can create an itinerary perfect to you from the length of the tour to the activities and visits.
- Day 1: Travel down to London via coach or Train. Check-in to your accommodation. Visit to Leicester square which could include a possible chance to witness a film premiere or watch one of the new releases.
- Day 2: In the morning take part in a workshop of your choice from live action theatre at the globe theatre to a high quality dance workshop by Rambert dance company. In the afternoon take a sightseeing tour of London or if you wish to carry on along the performing arts theme why not take a backstage tour of one of the musicals. - Day 3: Morning visit before departing London. If travelling back North we would highly recommend a visit to the Warner Bros. Harry Potter studio tour.
