Paris History Tour
About this tour
Paris has been the centre of power when it comes to the running of the French nation for the past two centuries.
The city is an ideal destination to visit when looking to cover the historic subject area of the French Revolution. It is therefore fitting your students' visit where it all began with a visit to the Place de la Bastille, the once former prison was destroyed and is now a square with the commemorative July column in the middle.
Your students will be able to learn about the topic area in detail with a visit to the Carnavalet museum with its extensive collection of material on the French revolution. A visit we recommend is to the stunning Palace of Versailles the French nation’s centre of power before the revolution it now houses a museum about the history of France.
There is no better place to study the French revolution than the city it started in. For more information about Paris History trips please email us.
