Singapore Art Trip
About this tour
Singapore may be one of the smallest countries in Southeast Asia but is one of the leading Art hubs within the region. It has slowly been growing in reputation for its collections of contemporary art since the 1990’s.
It is home to the largest public collection of modern Southeast Asian artworks. Parts of the city itself could be considered art with stunning Architectural designs from the modern Supertree Grove to the traditional Sultan Mosque.
It is not all about skyscrapers and office blocks in Singapore as they have created an Urban-nature blend with several stunning gardens & parks such as the botanic gardens and cloud forest in Singapore. The city is a great destination to bring students as they will get to experience the many cultures which have made up the Singaporean society.
It makes for a unique experience as well as an eclectic collection of art which will surely inspire your students’ next project. Why not visit during January? when they host a 12-day Arts Festival (SAW) with art fairs, gallery openings, exhibitions, lifestyle events, public art walks, and enriching discussions take place throughout the city.
