About this tour
Bletchley Park is the scene for one of the most remarkable stories of World War II. Both Members of MI6 and the Government Code and Cypher School were on a mission to break and cipher systems, the most famous being the Enigma.
Experience the sounds during World War II with the highly atmospheric snippets of conversation, music, laughter, bicycle bells and steam trains. WW2 landscape has been restored for all to experience and enjoy at Bletchley Park. Bletchley Park has much to offer – Visitor Centre, The Exhibition, The Mansion exhibitions, Codebreaking Huts, Museum etc.

A Suggested One-Day Tour
Day 1
Early coach transfer from school to Bletchley Park. Full day visiting the sites and workshops. (Lunch for your own account). Board your coach and return to school.

The National Radio Centre is operated by the Radio Society of Great Britain with Bletchley Park Trust. The exhibition traces the development of radio communications from inception to the current day.
The National Museum of Computing houses a rebuild of the Colossus and traces the development of the computer through to the modern day.
Woburn Abbey was originally a monastery given by Edward VI to the Russell family in 1547. Leading architects have created the stunning historic house as it is today.
During WWI Woburn Abbey was turned into a military hospital and in WWII the WRNs (Women’s Royal Naval Service) were billeted for their vital war work at Bletchley, before moving onto the home of the Codebreakers.
