About this tour
Stratford-upon-Avon is a market town located in Warwickshire in southern England. The city is famed for being the birthplace of one the most famous English writers in history, William Shakespeare. Stratford-upon-Avon is steeped in history and culture.
Shakespeare Houses are a collection of buildings associated with the famous writer and can take most of a day to explore. The New Guildhall and Schoolroom complete the full set of Shakespeare visits.
For those interested in drama it is possible to take part in a drama workshop with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
The city is also ideally situated for visits to Blenheim Palace, the Cotswolds, Worcester, the Malverns and Warwick.
