The city has many great attractions to learn about the history of fashion, such as the costume gallery and Ferragamo Museum. There is a fantastic opportunity to witness a demonstration at the leather school and learn more about Italian leather and it is craftmanship.

Sample Itinerary
We recommend a minimum 3-night, 4-day Itinerary. As we tailor make each itinerary, we can create an itinerary perfect for you from the length of the tour to the activities and visits.
- Day 1: Fly direct to Florence or to Pisa with a small transfer from a range of UK airports. Familiarise yourself with the city with a guided tour, it includes a visit to the Piazzale Michelangelo, which has stunning panoramic views of the city, and the Ponte Vecchio, one of Florence’s most iconic bridges with shops adjourned on either side of it.
- Day 2: In the morning visit the Ferragamo Museum a collection of 10,000 shoes created and owned by at Italian Shoe Designer Salvatore Ferragamo. Later, visit the Gucci Museum which houses several Gucci collections which will help your students learn about the brand from its inception to the present day. In the afternoon visit the Costume Gallery located in the Pitti Palace it has a collection of costumes through the ages by famous Italian designers.
- Day 3: In the Morning transfer to Prato where you will visit the Museo del Tessuto with exhibitions about lace making and textile production. In the afternoon transfer to the Barberino Designer Outlet a fantastic opportunity to view designer clothing and free time to do some shopping.
- Day 4: Depending on flight times, in the morning visit the Scuola del Cuoio where you’ll get to watch a demonstration and learn more about leather craftmanship before you depart back to the UK.
