About this tour
Mid Wales a timeless region of traditional country towns, peaceful shores and the surprising places that make exploration so rewarding. The area has variety of attractions to do with the UK’s history and selection of other topics. It is also possible to visit attractions in North Wales due to the proximity.
Spend the afternoon exploring medieval myth and legend of King Arthur with a visit to the award-winning King Arthurs Labyrinth where you’ll venture underground and take a boat through a labyrinth of tunnels which tells the story of King Arthur.

Sample Itinerary
Day One
- Pick up at school and depart by coach and travel to Church Stoke
- Comfort stops en route.
- Lunch – own arrangements – bring packed lunches.
- Afternoon train ride on the Welshpool to Llanfair narrow gauge heritage railway
- Check into the hostel/hotel.
- Evening meal is included.
Day Two
- Breakfast and collect packed lunches.
- Morning visit to Ceredigion Museum
- Afternoon visit to Rheidol Power Station
- Visit to King Arthur’s Labyrinth
- Evening meal back at the hostel
Day Three
- Breakfast and collect packed lunches.
- Check out, load coach, and depart.
- Visit on the way home, depending on location of school.
- Arrive back at school early evening.
