Rome Art Tour
About this tour
This historic city allows you to travel back in time as well as experiencing today’s modern chic Italy. It has extensive collection of roman art with also a growing number of contemporary and modern pieces.
It is a great destination to show students a more classical approach to art through the vast collection of ancient sculptures and paintings. A highlight of the trip will undoubtedly be the Sistine chapel, one of the most famous interior painted spaces in the world, painted by Michelangelo, which took four years to complete.
The city’s mixture of Neoclassical, Renaissance and Baroque architecture provides great opportunities for your students to sketch, paint and photograph around every corner.
Why not visit during Rome Art week (RAW)? Galleries in the city put on events and exhibits of Italian contemporary art. For more information about Rome Art trips please email us.
