Space Camp
About this tour
Located in the Southern Belgian countryside next to Transinne is the Euro Space Centre.
It provides an exciting Astronaut space program which is suitable for pupils aged 9 and upwards. It allows pupils to gain an understanding of what Astronaut life is like and the mysteries of space.
The program includes activities such as Rocket workshop, Briefing, & mission simulation, Moon walk, Astronomy lesson, Zero-gravity wall and many more fun activities which the student would enjoy.
The Centre really does become your base as it provides the accommodation including 4 meals a day as well all the activities which are conducted there.
If your trip is curriculum-based, one of our tour managers will be happy to discuss your learning objectives with you. We want your group to achieve the best educational benefits from the tour, no matter how many subjects or topics you wish to cover and of course including the fun element.
Sample Itinerary
Day One
- Pick up at school and depart by coach and travel to Dover / Folkestone
- Comfort stops en route.
- Catch the ferry or tunnel across the Chanel.
- Lunch – own arrangements – bring packed lunches.
- Arrive at our chosen hotel/hostel early evening and check in.
- Evening meal at hotel/hostel
Day Two
- Breakfast
- Spend the morning doing a variety of prechosen Space Camp experiences!
- Lunch is included.
- Afternoon visit to Brussels and a chocolate demonstration.
- Evening meal back at your accommodation
Day Three
- Breakfast and lunch are included.
- All day Space Camp Activities
- Dinner at the centre
- Evening activities
Day Four
- Breakfast and collect packed lunches.
- Check out of hotel and depart for home.
- Catch the ferry/tunnel back to the UK.
- Arrive back at the school late night.
